This Fraud & Scam Prevention Policy (“Policy”) describes the Trust & Safety framework implemented by Master Trading Class Private Limited (“Company”, “InternBoard”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) to prevent fraud, scams, and misuse on InternBoard.com (the “Platform”).

InternBoard is a global opportunity marketplace connecting:

  • students

  • fresh graduates

  • early-career professionals

with employers offering:

  • internships

  • apprenticeships

  • freelance projects

  • gig opportunities

  • part-time jobs

  • work-from-home jobs

  • live projects

  • professional courses.

InternBoard operates strictly as a technology platform that facilitates opportunity discovery and connections between employers and candidates.

InternBoard does not act as an employer, recruitment agency, staffing agency, or hiring intermediary, and the Platform does not participate in employment contracts or hiring decisions.

This policy explains:

  • the types of fraudulent activities prohibited on the Platform

  • the Trust & Safety systems used to protect users

  • responsibilities of employers and candidates

  • reporting and enforcement procedures.


1. Introduction

Online opportunity marketplaces may occasionally attract malicious actors attempting to exploit users through deceptive practices.

InternBoard is committed to maintaining a secure, transparent, and trustworthy ecosystem for both candidates and employers.

The InternBoard Trust & Safety framework is designed to:

  • detect and prevent fraudulent activity

  • protect users from scams

  • maintain integrity in opportunity listings

  • promote ethical recruitment practices.

While InternBoard actively implements fraud detection mechanisms, users should exercise reasonable caution when interacting with other users.


2. Definitions

2.1 Fraud

Fraud refers to any intentional act of deception designed to obtain financial benefit, personal information, or other unlawful advantage.

2.2 Scam

A scam refers to a deceptive scheme intended to trick users into providing money, confidential information, or other assets.

2.3 Employer

An employer refers to any individual or organization posting opportunities on the Platform.

2.4 Candidate

“Candidate” refers to any student, graduate, or professional seeking opportunities through the Platform.

2.5 Suspicious Activity

Suspicious activity refers to any behavior that appears misleading, deceptive, abusive, or inconsistent with legitimate recruitment practices.


3. Trust & Safety Framework

InternBoard maintains a Trust & Safety framework designed to identify and mitigate potential risks.

3.1 Automated Fraud Detection Systems

InternBoard may use automated monitoring technologies to detect suspicious patterns such as:

  • abnormal account creation behavior

  • automated bot activity

  • suspicious login patterns

  • high-volume message activity.

These systems help detect potential misuse at scale.


3.2 Behavioral Risk Analysis

InternBoard may analyze behavioral signals to identify suspicious accounts.

Examples include:

  • rapid posting of job listings

  • repeated editing of job descriptions

  • high-volume outbound messaging to candidates.

4. Types of Fraud and Scams Prohibited

InternBoard strictly prohibits the following activities.

4.2 Payment Scams

Employers must never request money from candidates for:

Employers requesting payments from candidates may face permanent account bans.


4.3 Phishing Attempts

Phishing includes attempts to obtain confidential information such as:

  • passwords

  • financial information

  • personal identity documents.

Phishing may occur through deceptive messages or malicious links.


4.4 Identity Impersonation

Users may not impersonate:

  • companies

  • organizations

  • other users.

Impersonation is strictly prohibited.


4.5 Data Harvesting

Using automated tools to collect personal information such as:

  • email addresses

  • resumes

  • phone numbers

  • employer contacts

is strictly prohibited.


4.6 Fraudulent Candidate Profiles

Candidates must not submit:

InternBoard may classify potential safety risks into different categories.

5.1 Low Risk

Minor issues such as incomplete employer profiles or unclear job descriptions.

5.2 Moderate Risk

Activities such as suspicious messaging patterns or unusual job listing behavior.

5.3 High Risk

Serious violations including:

  • payment scams

  • phishing attacks

  • impersonation.

High-risk accounts may face immediate suspension.


6. Employer Responsibilities

Employers must follow ethical recruitment practices.

6.1 Accurate Opportunity Listings

Employers must provide clear and truthful information regarding:

  • job responsibilities

  • compensation structure

  • work arrangements

  • project duration.


6.2 Compliance With Labor Laws

Employers must comply with applicable labor regulations in their jurisdiction.

InternBoard is not responsible for employer compliance with local employment laws.


6.3 Prohibition of Candidate Payments

Employers must not request payment from candidates.

Violation of this rule may result in permanent platform bans.


7. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates must also maintain ethical conduct.

7.1 Truthful Information

Candidates must provide accurate details about:

  • education

  • experience

  • certifications.


7.2 Responsible Communication

Candidates should communicate professionally with employers.

Harassment or misleading communication is prohibited.


7.3 Protection of Personal Information

Candidates should avoid sharing sensitive data such as:

  • financial details

  • identity documents

  • account passwords.


8. Warning Signs of Potential Scams

Users should exercise caution if an opportunity:

  • requests upfront payment

  • promises unusually high compensation

  • requests financial information early in the hiring process

  • pressures users to communicate outside the Platform immediately.

Users should independently verify employers whenever possible.


9. Reporting Fraud or Suspicious Activity

Users may report suspicious activity including:

  • fraudulent job listings

  • phishing attempts

  • payment scams

  • impersonation.

Reports may be submitted to:

Providing supporting evidence such as screenshots or links may assist investigations.


10. Enforcement Actions

InternBoard reserves the right to take enforcement actions against users who violate platform policies.

Possible actions include:

  • warnings to users

  • temporary account suspension

  • permanent account bans.

Serious violations may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.


11. Transparency and Safety Reporting

InternBoard may periodically review platform safety metrics including:

  • number of fraudulent listings removed

  • number of suspended accounts

  • categories of reported violations.

These insights help improve platform safety mechanisms.


12. Platform Limitations

While InternBoard implements fraud detection systems, it cannot guarantee the complete elimination of fraudulent behavior.

InternBoard does not verify every employer or candidate using the Platform.

Users should exercise independent judgment when interacting with others.


13. Limitation of Liability

InternBoard provides a technology platform connecting employers and candidates.

InternBoard shall not be responsible for:

  • fraudulent acts committed by users

  • employment disputes

  • financial losses resulting from user interactions.


14. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless:

  • Master Trading Class Private Limited

  • InternBoard.com

  • its directors, employees, affiliates, and partners

from claims arising from:

  • misuse of the Platform

  • policy violations

  • disputes between users.


15. Policy Updates

InternBoard may update this Policy periodically to reflect:

  • evolving fraud prevention practices

  • regulatory changes

  • platform improvements.

Updated policies will be published on the Platform.


16. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of India.


17. Jurisdiction

All disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
