This Disclaimer and Risk Disclosure Policy (“Policy”) is a legally binding document issued by Master Trading Class Private Limited, the owner and operator of InternBoard.com. It sets out, with specificity and legal precision, the disclaimers, limitations of responsibility, and material risk disclosures applicable to all persons who access or use the Platform. This Policy forms an integral part of the Company’s Platform Governance Framework and is intended to be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Trust and Safety Transparency Policy, Fraud and Scam Prevention Policy, and Cookie Policy, all of which are published on the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform in any manner — whether as a Career Starter, Employer, or Visitor — you unconditionally acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy, and you agree to be bound by all disclaimers and risk disclosures set out herein.
1. Introduction and Purpose
1.1 About InternBoard.com
InternBoard.com (“InternBoard,” “the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a global digital opportunity marketplace developed, owned, and operated by Master Trading Class Private Limited (“the Company”). The Platform serves as a technology-driven intermediary connecting Career Starters—students, fresh graduates, and early-career professionals — with Employers offering internships, apprenticeships, full-time positions, part-time roles, remote opportunities, freelance gigs, and career development resources. The terms “Career Starter” and “Candidate” are used interchangeably throughout this Policy and carry identical legal meaning.
1.2 Purpose of this Policy
The purpose of this Policy is to:
- precisely and comprehensively define the Company’s role as a neutral technology intermediary and the consequential limitations of its responsibilities;
- disclose the material risks inherent in accessing and using a global career opportunity platform, including risks relating to the accuracy of user-generated content, the conduct of third parties, data security, algorithmic systems, and cross-border use;
- set out the legal standard under which the Platform and all of its services are provided, including the “as is” and “as available” basis upon which all services are delivered;
- define the scope and extent of the Company’s limitation of liability and the basis upon which that limitation is calculated;
- identify the specific disclaimers applicable to particular Platform features and services, including AI-driven tools, third-party integrations, Career Insights content, and the Employer Verification and Trust Program; and
- promote informed and responsible decision-making by all users, consistent with the independent judgment standard adopted by leading global career platforms, including Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, and Dice.
1.3 Acceptance
By performing any of the following acts, a user unconditionally accepts all disclaimers and risk disclosures set out in this Policy:
- accessing or browsing the Platform in any manner;
- creating or maintaining a user account on the Platform;
- submitting any profile, resume, application, Opportunity listing, or other Content through the Platform;
- purchasing a Membership or any other service offered on the Platform; or
- using any feature, tool, or resource available through the Platform.

3. Platform Intermediary Disclaimer
3.1 Technology Platform Only
InternBoard operates exclusively as a neutral technology platform and opportunity discovery service. The Company does not act in any capacity other than as a technology intermediary enabling Career Starters and Employers to discover each other and to initiate contact. In this capacity, the Company expressly and unconditionally:
- does not act as, and shall not be deemed to be, an employer, staffing agency, recruitment consultancy, manpower agency, labour hire agency, or placement bureau in respect of any Career Starter or any Opportunity;
- does not participate in, influence, direct, or bear any responsibility whatsoever for any hiring, shortlisting, interviewing, selection, rejection, or engagement decision made by any Employer in respect of any Career Starter;
- does not enter into, or purport to enter into, any contract of employment, internship agreement, apprenticeship, service contract, consultancy, or any other labour or engagement agreement on behalf of any Career Starter or Employer;
- does not act as agent, representative, or attorney-in-fact for any Career Starter or Employer in connection with any Opportunity or engagement;
- does not act as a training provider, educational institution, or skills certification body in connection with any Opportunity listed on the Platform; and
- is not a party to any agreement, arrangement, negotiation, or communication between any Career Starter and any Employer, regardless of whether such agreement, arrangement, negotiation, or communication was initiated through the Platform.
All agreements, arrangements, and engagements in connection with any Opportunity are entered into solely and directly between the relevant Career Starter and Employer. The Company expressly disclaims all liability arising from, or in connection with, any such agreement, arrangement, or engagement.
3.2 No Employment Relationship with Career Starters
Nothing in the operation of the Platform, in any communication from the Company, or in any Opportunity listing published on the Platform creates, implies, or suggests any employment, agency, contractor, or partnership relationship between the Company and any Career Starter. Career Starters who are engaged for an Opportunity by an Employer are employees, contractors, interns, apprentices, or freelancers of that Employer only, and not of the Company.
3.3 Independent User Judgment
As affirmed by Indeed in its Terms of Service—”You agree, as a condition of using the Site, that you will not use the Site, in whole or in part, as a substitute for your own independent judgment or decision-making”—the Company adopts the same principle. All users of the Platform are solely responsible for all decisions they make in connection with their use of the Platform, including decisions relating to submitting applications, accepting Opportunities, entering into engagements, and disclosing personal or professional information. The Platform is provided as a tool to facilitate opportunity discovery and to make users’ career and recruitment activities more effective and efficient. It is not, and must not be treated as, a substitute for independent professional judgment.
4. Safe Harbour and Intermediary Liability Disclaimer
4.1 Intermediary Status
The Company operates as an “intermediary” within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), and within equivalent definitions under applicable law in Singapore, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions in which the Platform operates. As an intermediary, the Company is entitled to the safe harbor protections available to intermediaries under applicable law, including Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
4.2 Scope of Safe Harbour
The Company maintains its safe harbor protection by:
- publishing clear Community Guidelines, Terms and Conditions, and this Policy, which collectively govern the conduct of all users of the Platform;
- not initiating the transmission of third-party Content, not selecting the receiver of such Content, and not selecting or modifying the information contained in such Content;
- acting expeditiously upon receiving actual knowledge of unlawful or violating Content—including through user reports, the “Report This Job” feature, court orders, or government directions—by removing or disabling access to such Content; and
- cooperating with law enforcement investigations and complying with lawful government orders in accordance with the procedures described in the Trust and Safety Transparency Policy.
4.3 Limitation of Safe Harbour
The Company’s safe harbour protection does not extend to Content that the Company has itself created or edited, or to conduct by the Company that does not comply with the conditions described in Section 4.2. The Company expressly disclaims any intent to rely on safe harbour protection where it has actual knowledge of unlawful Content and has failed to act expeditiously.
5. Content and Accuracy Disclaimer
5.1 User-Generated Content
All Opportunity listings, Employer profiles, Career Starter profiles, resumes, application materials, reviews, messages, and other Content published on the Platform are generated exclusively by users. The Company does not create, author, verify, review, or endorse user-generated Content, and makes no representation or warranty regarding:
- the accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, currency, or reliability of any Content submitted by any user;
- the legality of any Opportunity listing or of any engagement arising from an Opportunity;
- the authenticity of any Employer’s identity, legal registration, financial standing, or operational capacity;
- the accuracy or completeness of any Career Starter’s stated qualifications, work experience, skills, or professional credentials; or
- the fitness of any Opportunity for any particular Career Starter, or of any Career Starter for any particular Opportunity.
The Company expressly disclaims all liability for any loss or damage—direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise—arising from any user’s reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any Content published on the Platform. The company is not responsible for User Content, Job Ads, the quality, safety, or legality of the jobs or resumes posted, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of employers to offer job opportunities to candidates, or the ability of candidates to fill job openings.
5.2 No Verification of Employer Identity or Listings
The Company does not verify the identity or legitimacy of all Employers who register on the Platform or post Opportunity listings. Notwithstanding the Company’s operation of a voluntary Employer Verification and Trust Program—under which certain Employers may be verified and identified by a verification badge—the verification of any particular Employer does not constitute a guarantee, representation, or warranty by the Company of that Employer’s identity, legal status, financial condition, operational integrity, or the legitimacy of any specific Opportunity they post.
Employers who are not verified under the Employer Verification and Trust Program have not been subject to any identity or legitimacy check by the Company. Users must exercise their own independent judgment and conduct their own due diligence in assessing the legitimacy of any Employer or Opportunity, as described in the Fraud and Scam Prevention Policy.
5.3 No Verification of Career Starter Credentials
The Company does not verify the educational qualifications, professional credentials, work history, skills, certifications, or other representations made by Career Starters in their profiles or applications. As affirmed by Dice in its Terms and Conditions—”you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the form, content, and accuracy of any resume, job listing, or other material you post.” Employers are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence in screening, assessing, and verifying Career Starters’ credentials prior to making any hiring, engagement, or shortlisting decisions.
5.4 Automated Job Aggregation Disclaimer
To the extent that certain Opportunity listings on the Platform are sourced from third-party websites through automated indexing or aggregation processes, the Company makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, currency, or availability of such listings. Indeed, it expressly acknowledges in its Terms of Service that “Job Ads contained on, or linked from, the Site are indexed and posted in an automated manner” and disclaims all liability for the accuracy of such Content. The Company adopts the same position.
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes Disclaimer
6.1 No Guarantee of Employment or Engagement
The Company does not guarantee, represent, or warrant that any Career Starter will secure any employment, internship, apprenticeship, freelance engagement, gig, or other Opportunity as a result of using the Platform. The Company does not guarantee that any Career Starter’s application will be reviewed, shortlisted, or responded to by any Employer. All hiring and engagement decisions are made solely and independently by Employers, without the involvement of the Company.
6.2 No Guarantee of Compensation
The Company does not guarantee, represent, or warrant that any Opportunity listed on the Platform will result in the payment of any salary, stipend, freelance fee, commission, or other compensation to any Career Starter. All compensation arrangements are agreed upon directly between Career Starters and Employers. The Company is not a party to any compensation arrangement and accepts no liability in respect thereof.
6.3 No Guarantee of Opportunity Availability
The Company does not guarantee that any specific Opportunity listed on the Platform will remain available for the duration of its listing period or that any Employer will continue to seek applicants for any Opportunity after listing it. Employers may fill, withdraw, cancel, or modify Opportunities at any time without notifying the Company. Career Starters are advised to apply promptly for any Opportunity in which they have a genuine interest.
6.4 No Career Advice or Professional Guidance
Nothing published on the Platform—including any content appearing in the Career Insights section, any algorithm-generated recommendation, or any communication from the Company’s support team—constitutes professional career advice, legal advice, financial advice, immigration advice, or any other form of professional advisory service. The Platform and all of its Content are provided for general informational purposes only. Career Starters should seek independent professional advice from qualified advisors before making material career, financial, relocation, or immigration decisions.
7. Career Insights Content Disclaimer
7.1 Informational Purpose Only
The Career Insights section of the Platform contains articles, guides, resources, blog posts, and other editorial content intended to provide general career-related information and guidance to Career Starters and other users. All Career Insights content is provided for general informational purposes only.
7.2 No Professional Advisory Relationship
The publication of any content in the Career Insights section does not create any professional advisory, consultancy, counseling, or coaching relationship between the Company and any user. Career Insights content does not constitute the following:
- legal advice or a legal opinion on any matter;
- financial, tax, investment, or accounting advice;
- immigration or visa advice;
- medical, psychological, or mental health advice; or
- any other form of regulated professional advice.
7.3 No Warranty of Accuracy or Currency
Career Insights content reflects the Company’s understanding of the relevant subject matter at the time of publication. The Company does not warrant or represent that Career Insights content is accurate, complete, current, or free from error at any given time. Employment law, immigration regulations, labour market conditions, and best practices in recruitment and career development change frequently and vary significantly between jurisdictions. Users must verify the accuracy and applicability of any information obtained from the Career Insights section independently before acting upon it.
7.4 Third-Party Sources
Career Insights content may draw upon, reference, or link to third-party sources. The inclusion of any such reference or link does not constitute an endorsement of the third-party source, its author, or its content. The Company accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, availability, or content of any third-party source referenced in or linked from Career Insights content.
8. Algorithmic Systems and Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
8.1 Use of Automated Systems
The Platform employs algorithmic systems, machine learning models, and artificial intelligence tools to perform the following functions, among others:
- generating personalized opportunity recommendations for Career Starters based on their profile data, stated preferences, search history, and Platform activity;
- surfacing Career Starter profiles to Employers based on search criteria, skills matching, and relevance ranking;
- ranking and prioritizing Opportunity listings and search results;
- detecting fraudulent accounts, suspicious listings, and policy-violating Content; and
- generating platform performance analytics and moderation insights.
8.2 Inherent Limitations of Algorithmic Systems
Users acknowledge and agree that:
- all algorithmic systems and AI-generated recommendations are probabilistic in nature and are based on statistical models applied to available data inputs. They may not always produce accurate, complete, relevant, or optimal outputs;
- the Company does not guarantee that any AI-generated Opportunity recommendation, profile match, search ranking, or other automated output will result in a successful application, interview, engagement, or hire;
- algorithmic outputs may be affected by the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the underlying data inputted by users. Incomplete profiles, inaccurate credentials, or outdated information may produce recommendations that are less relevant or accurate;
- automated fraud detection systems may produce false positive results—incorrectly flagging legitimate Content or conduct as violating—or false negative results—failing to detect all instances of violating Content. The Company continuously refines its detection systems to reduce error rates, but cannot guarantee their completeness or accuracy at any given time; and
- AI-generated tools, outputs, and recommendations are not a substitute for independent human judgment. Users must apply their own judgment in evaluating all automated outputs and must not rely solely on algorithmic recommendations in making employment, engagement, or business decisions.
8.3 AI and User Data
The Company does not use user-submitted Content or personal data to train third-party artificial intelligence models without the express consent of the relevant user. The Company’s use of data in connection with its internal algorithmic systems is governed by the Privacy Policy.
8.4 AI Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from any user’s reliance on any AI-generated recommendation, algorithmic output, ranking, match, or other automated result produced by the Platform.
9. Fraud and Scam Risk Disclosure
9.1 Inherent Risk Disclosure
Career Starters and other users are advised that career and employment platforms—including the most reputable global platforms—are subject to attempts by fraudulent actors to exploit users through fake Opportunity listings, employer impersonation, phishing attacks, payment scams, identity theft, and other forms of deception. The Company implements substantial fraud detection and prevention infrastructure, as described in the Fraud and Scam Prevention Policy and the Trust and Safety Transparency Policy. However, the Company cannot guarantee the detection and removal of all fraudulent Content or the prevention of all fraudulent conduct in real time.
9.2 Key Risk Categories
Users are advised of the following key fraud and scam risks associated with career platform usage:
- Fake Opportunity Listings: Fraudulent actors may post Opportunity listings that are fabricated or substantially misrepresented for the purpose of harvesting personal data, soliciting payment, or recruiting users into scam arrangements. Indicators of fake listings are described in detail in Section 5 of the Fraud and Scam Prevention Policy;
- Employer Impersonation: Fraudulent actors may impersonate legitimate, well-known, or credible Employers — including, in some instances, impersonating the Company itself—in order to deceive Career Starters. Career Starters should independently verify the identity of any Employer before providing personal information or attending an interview;
- Payment Scams: No legitimate Employer will ever request any payment, deposit, or fee from a Career Starter in connection with any Opportunity. Any request for payment from a Career Starter is an absolute indicator of fraud;
- Phishing and Social Engineering: Fraudulent actors may attempt to deceive Career Starters into disclosing sensitive personal or financial information through fake login pages, fraudulent onboarding portals, or manipulative communications;
- Money Transfer Schemes: Fraudulent actors may recruit Career Starters into arrangements requiring them to receive and transfer money on behalf of a purported Employer — commonly known as “money mule” schemes. Such arrangements expose Career Starters to serious criminal liability; and
- AI-Generated Deception: Fraudulent actors increasingly use AI tools—including deepfake video, AI-generated profile photographs, and AI-written communications—to make deceptive Opportunities appear more authentic.
9.3 User Obligations
Career Starters and Employers each bear independent responsibility for their own safety in connection with the Platform. Users must:
- consult the Fraud and Scam Prevention Policy in full before engaging with any unfamiliar Employer or applying to any Opportunity that exhibits unusual characteristics;
- use the “Report This Job” feature available on every Opportunity listing to report any listing they believe to be fraudulent, suspicious, or otherwise violating;
- exercise independent due diligence in verifying the identity and legitimacy of any Employer before attending any interview, providing personal information, or accepting any engagement; and
- contact the Company immediately at support@internboard.com and report to relevant law enforcement authorities if they believe they have been the victim of fraud connected to the Platform.
10. Financial Transaction Risk Disclosure
10.1 No Involvement in Financial Transactions
The Company does not participate in, control, manage, facilitate, or bear any responsibility for any financial transaction between Career Starters and Employers. This includes, without limitation:
- salary, wage, or remuneration payments made by Employers to Career Starters;
- stipend payments in connection with internship or apprenticeship engagements;
- freelance fees, project-based payments, or milestone payments in connection with gig or freelance Opportunities; and
- any other financial consideration passing between any Career Starter and any Employer in connection with any Opportunity sourced through the Platform.
10.2 No Financial Guarantee
The Company does not guarantee the payment of any compensation by any Employer to any Career Starter, regardless of whether the relevant Opportunity listing specified a compensation amount. All financial arrangements are agreed upon directly between Career Starters and Employers, and any dispute regarding compensation is a matter solely between those parties.
10.3 Membership Payments
Membership fees paid by Career Starters to the Company in connection with their Platform Membership are separate and entirely distinct from any compensation arrangements between Career Starters and Employers. The Company’s handling of Membership payments is governed by the Terms and Conditions.
10.4 Third-Party Payment Processors
Membership payments and any other platform-level transactions are processed through PCI-DSS-certified third-party payment gateway providers. The Company does not store, access, or process complete card numbers, bank account details, card verification values, or other sensitive payment authentication data. The Company’s liability in respect of payment processing is limited by Section 20 of this Policy and by the Terms and Conditions.
11. Off-Platform Communication Risk Disclosure
11.1 Risk of Off-Platform Communications
Career Starters and Employers may, in the course of their interactions, choose to communicate outside the Platform through email, telephone, video conferencing, instant messaging applications, social media, or other channels. The Company:
- does not monitor, oversee, record, or control any communications between users that occur outside the Platform;
- cannot verify the identity or authenticity of any party in off-platform communications;
- cannot detect or prevent fraud, harassment, misrepresentation, or any other harmful conduct that occurs exclusively in off-platform communications; and
- accepts no liability for any loss, harm, or damage arising from off-platform communications between users.
11.2 User Responsibility
Users who choose to communicate with other users outside the Platform do so entirely at their own risk. Career Starters are strongly advised to exercise particular caution in off-platform communications and to refer to the warning signs described in the Fraud and Scam Prevention Policy. Users should be especially wary of any Employer who insists on conducting all communications through personal messaging applications, avoids using professional email, or declines to conduct any aspect of the application process through the Platform.
12. Third-Party Services and Links Disclaimer
12.1 Third-Party Service Integrations
The Platform integrates third-party services—including cloud infrastructure providers, payment gateways, email delivery platforms, analytics tools, and cybersecurity services—for the purpose of delivering the Platform’s features and functionality. The Company:
- is not responsible for the availability, reliability, security, or accuracy of any third-party service integrated with the Platform;
- does not control the privacy practices, data handling procedures, or terms of service of any third-party service provider; and
- as expressed by Monster.com in its Terms of Use — “disclaims liability for any changes in third-party sites and services, their availability, content, and features.”
12.2 Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites, platforms, or services. The inclusion of any such link does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or approval by the Company of the linked site or its operator, content, products, or services. The Company accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, availability, or data practices of any third-party website or service.
12.3 Social Login and Third-Party Account Integrations
Where users elect to register or log in to the Platform using a third-party authentication service — such as Google or LinkedIn — the Company receives only the profile information the user has expressly authorised the third-party platform to share. The Company’s use of such information is governed by the Privacy Policy. Users are advised to review and manage their privacy settings on third-party platforms independently, as the Company has no control over what those platforms collect, process, or disclose.
13. Platform Availability and Technical Disclaimer
13.1 “As Is” and “As Available” Basis
The Platform and all services provided through it are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. This standard is consistent with the approach adopted by all major global career platforms, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, and Dice, each of which expressly disclaims all warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, and reliability of their platforms.
13.2 Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company expressly disclaims:
- any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement;
- any warranty that the Platform will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from defects, viruses, or other harmful components at all times;
- any warranty that any defect or error in the Platform will be corrected within any particular timeframe;
- any warranty that the Platform’s servers or infrastructure are free from security vulnerabilities, cyberattacks, or failures; and
- any warranty that the Platform will meet any particular user’s requirements, expectations, or objectives.
13.3 Service Interruptions
The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, technical upgrades, server failures, cyberattacks, or Force Majeure Events. The Company will endeavour to provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance where practicable but accepts no liability for service interruptions, whether or not such notice is given.
13.4 Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under any policy or agreement arising from a Force Majeure Event. Upon the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event, the Company will take reasonable steps to restore normal service as quickly as practicable.
14. Data Security Risk Disclosure
14.1 Security Measures Implemented
The Company implements a comprehensive set of technical and organizational security measures to protect users’ personal data and account information, as described in the Privacy Policy. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, periodic vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, and a documented security incident response plan.
14.2 Inherent Security Risks
Notwithstanding the measures described in Section 14.1:
- no electronic security system, data transmission protocol, or storage infrastructure can be guaranteed to be entirely impervious to breach, cyberattack, or compromise. The Company cannot represent or warrant absolute security;
- data transmitted over the public internet is inherently subject to interception, unauthorised access, and alteration, regardless of encryption protocols employed;
- threats from malicious actors—including state-sponsored cyberattackers, organised cybercrime groups, and insider threats—continue to evolve in sophistication and cannot be comprehensively anticipated or prevented; and
- the security of a user’s account depends in part on the security practices of the user themselves, including the strength and confidentiality of their password and the security of the device from which they access the Platform.
14.3 User Security Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- maintaining the strict confidentiality of their account password and login credentials;
- using a strong, unique password for their Platform account and not reusing passwords from other platforms;
- logging out of their account after each session, particularly when using shared or public devices;
- keeping their registered email address current and secure, as it is the primary channel for account recovery and security notifications; and
- notifying the Company immediately at support@internboard.com upon becoming aware of any actual or suspected unauthorised access to their account.
15. Global Compliance and Cross-Border Risk Disclosure
15.1 Multi-Jurisdictional Access
The Platform is accessible to users located in multiple jurisdictions around the world. The Company operates and manages the Platform from India and Singapore. Users in other jurisdictions access and use the Platform on their own initiative and acknowledge that:
- the legality, availability, and appropriateness of the Platform and its features may vary between jurisdictions;
- certain Opportunity types—including specific categories of remote work, freelance engagement, or digital services—may be subject to local tax, licensing, registration, or regulatory requirements in a user’s jurisdiction; and
- the Company makes no representation or warranty that the Platform is lawful, appropriate, or suitable for use in any specific jurisdiction outside India and Singapore.
15.2 User Compliance Responsibility
Each user is solely and independently responsible for:
- determining whether their access to and use of the Platform is lawful in their jurisdiction;
- complying with all applicable local laws and regulations in connection with their use of the Platform, including employment law, anti-discrimination law, data protection law, immigration and work permit law, tax law, and consumer protection law;
- ensuring that any Opportunity they post (as an Employer) or accept (as a Career Starter) complies with the employment and labour laws of the relevant jurisdiction, including requirements relating to minimum wage, working hours, non-discrimination, and right to work; and
- obtaining all necessary licences, permits, visas, and work authorizations required in their jurisdiction before accepting or commencing any Opportunity.
The Company accepts no liability for any user’s failure to comply with applicable local law.
15.3 Employment and Labour Law Disclaimer
The Company makes no representation or warranty regarding the legality, compliance, or enforceability of any Opportunity listing under the employment or labour law of any jurisdiction. Employment law requirements — including minimum wage, working hour limits, overtime entitlements, leave provisions, and anti-discrimination obligations — vary significantly between jurisdictions and change frequently. Career Starters should seek independent legal advice before accepting any Opportunity that raises questions about applicable employment law compliance. Employers should seek independent legal advice to ensure their listings and engagement practices comply with applicable law in all relevant jurisdictions.
16. Membership and Service Disclaimer
16.1 Membership Benefits Not Guaranteed
The Company does not guarantee that any Career Starter’s purchase of a Membership will result in any particular number of application views, interview invitations, Opportunity offers, or career outcomes. Membership provides access to the Platform’s application features and Career Starter-facing services. It does not guarantee any employment outcome.
16.2 Platform Modifications
The Company reserves the right to modify, update, enhance, or discontinue any feature, tool, service, or aspect of the Platform at any time and without prior notice, subject to the advance notice obligations set out in the Terms and Conditions. Users’ continued use of the Platform following any modification constitutes acceptance of the modified Platform.
16.3 No Refund Guarantee
The Company’s refund and cancellation policy is set out in Section 9 of the Terms and Conditions. The Company operates a general no-refund and no-cancellation policy for Membership fees, subject to mandatory statutory exceptions described in the Terms and Conditions. Career Starters are advised to review the Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a Membership.
17. Employer Verification and Trust Program Disclaimer
17.1 Scope of Verification
The Company operates an Employer Verification and Trust Program under which Employers may be verified. Where an Employer has been verified, a verification badge is displayed on their Platform profile and associated listings. Verification under this Programme is limited to the information and documentation submitted by the Employer at the time of verification and reviewed by the Company.
17.2 Limitations of Verification
Verification under the Employer Verification and Trust Program:
- does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or approval by the Company of any Employer or Opportunity;
- does not guarantee the ongoing legitimacy, legal standing, financial condition, or operational integrity of any verified Employer beyond the date of verification;
- does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or authenticity of any Opportunity listing posted by a verified Employer;
- does not eliminate the risk of fraud, misrepresentation, or exploitation associated with any Employer, whether verified or not; and
- does not create any legal obligation on the part of the Company in respect of any Career Starter’s interactions with a verified Employer.
Career Starters must continue to exercise independent due diligence in assessing any Employer and Opportunity, regardless of the Employer’s verification status.
18. Career Insights Disclaimer (Supplemental)
All editorial content, articles, guides, and resources published in the Career Insights section of the Platform:
- are provided for general informational and educational purposes only and are not intended to constitute, and shall not be construed as, professional advice of any kind;
- may reflect the views, opinions, or interpretations of the author and do not necessarily represent the official position of the Company on any matter;
- are prepared based on information available at the time of writing and may not reflect subsequent developments in law, regulation, market conditions, or best practice;
- may reference, cite, or link to third-party sources. The Company does not endorse and accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, currency, or reliability of any such source; and
- should not be relied upon as a basis for any employment, career, financial, legal, immigration, or business decision without independent professional verification and advice.
19. Reliance and Independent Judgment Disclaimer
19.1 General Reliance Disclaimer
The Platform and all content, tools, features, and services available through it are provided for general informational and facilitative purposes only. Users must not rely solely on the Platform or any content available through it as the basis for any decision relating to:
- applying for, accepting, or declining any Opportunity;
- entering into any financial commitment, including any salary negotiation, freelance contract, or business arrangement arising from any Opportunity;

19.2 Verification Obligation
Before acting on any information encountered on the Platform — whether in an Opportunity listing, an Employer profile, a Career Insights article, or any other form of content — users are required to independently verify the accuracy, currency, and applicability of that information through authoritative sources, professional advisors, or other means appropriate to the significance of the decision being made.
20. Limitation of Liability
20.1 Exclusion of Consequential and Indirect Damages
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company, Master Trading Class Private Limited, and its respective directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, and affiliated entities shall not be liable to any user for:
- any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages of any nature, regardless of the basis of the claim and whether or not the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages;
- loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, employment prospects, career outcomes, goodwill, or anticipated savings;
- loss arising from the conduct, representations, misrepresentations, defaults, or fraud of any Employer, Career Starter, or other third party;

Where the user has not paid any Membership fees, the Company’s maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the equivalent of one hundred United States Dollars (USD 100).
20.3 Basis of the Bargain
The limitations of liability set out in this Section 20 reflect a reasonable and deliberate allocation of risk between the Company and its users, consistent with the approach adopted by all major global career platforms, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, and Dice. These limitations form an essential basis of the Agreement between the Company and each user, and the Company would not provide the Platform on the terms set out in its policies without such limitations.
20.4 Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this Section 20 limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India). To the extent that any applicable law requires the Company to provide a remedy or compensation that cannot be waived by contract, that remedy or compensation shall be provided notwithstanding the limitations set out in this Section.
21. Indemnification
Each user of the Platform agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, Master Trading Class Private Limited, and its directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from and against any and all third-party claims, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees and disbursements — arising out of or in connection with:
- the user’s use of or access to the Platform in breach of these Terms, this Policy, or any other policy of the Company;
- the user’s violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right in connection with their use of the Platform;
- any Content submitted by the user that is false, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful;
- any dispute between the user and any other user arising from interactions on the Platform; or
- any claim by a Career Starter arising from an Employer’s violation of the prohibition on charging Career Starters set out in the Terms and Conditions, the Community Guidelines, and the Fraud and Scam Prevention Policy.
22. Governing Law
This Policy, and all matters arising out of or relating to it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without reference to its conflict of laws principles. The Company acknowledges that users in other jurisdictions may be entitled to protections under applicable local mandatory law—including consumer protection, employment, data protection, and online safety legislation—which shall apply to the extent required by mandatory applicable law.
23. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
23.1 Good-Faith Negotiation
Before initiating formal legal proceedings in relation to this Policy or any matter arising from use of the Platform, users are requested to notify the Company in writing at support@internboard.com, describing the nature of the dispute and the remedy sought. The parties agree to engage in good-faith negotiations for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of written notification before either party commences formal proceedings.
23.2 Exclusive Jurisdiction
Subject to Section 23.1 and to any mandatory consumer forum jurisdiction available under applicable law, all disputes arising from or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
23.3 Consumer Forum Rights
Nothing in this Section limits the right of any user who qualifies as a “consumer” under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India), or an equivalent statute in their jurisdiction, to seek redressal before the competent consumer dispute redressal commission or forum at any time and without prejudice to these provisions.

24.3 Continued Use as Acceptance
